Oh, OLIVIA
Makes very bad decisions, especially with men.
Olivia lives in her own dream world, where Christmas movies are what she loves most. She works as an assistant at a Hollywood production company and desperately wants her boss to make the holiday scripts she loves, but her boss doesn't like these types of movies, leaving Olivia feeling stuck.
When she tries to get her boss to read one of the scripts by telling her that she knows that this can be reality, her boss makes a deal with her. She must get the perfect guy to fall in love with her, well, once she finds him in the small town her estranged sister lives in, and only then will she agree to read a holiday film.
DEAL!

WHY THIS STORY RIGHT NOW? This is a fun story about a woman who can't see her own worth and, through a series of mishaps, discovers that she can do anything she wants and find happiness along the way. It's optimistic, and the world could use that right now. AND-
It's a funny, feel-good story.

DETERMINED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
What? No Holiday Decorations?
Olivia heads to Colorado where she plans to find the perfect man but when she gets there, she soon realizes that it's not at all like the holiday movies she loves so much.
For everyone who loves a mess of a lead who represents all of us at one time or another.
The MAN OF HER DREAMS?
Or is he so perfect that it's annoying?
He's exactly who she wants on paper. He has a Christmas Tree farm, he bakes, he volunteers, that smile, that jaw, those eyes, and he hasn't even tried anything with her-well, that's annoying. He's everything she THOUGHT she wanted.

WHY ME? I grew up in a small mountain town in Vermont, and I totally want it to be like they are in the TV holiday movies. This is why I love these films, so imagine if you could go to one and make it happen? I got the idea for this story when I was in VT in December, and there were no holiday decorations, no chipper townswoman serving the perfect hot chocolate; it was dark, gray, wet, and freezing.

The RIGHT GUY?
Maybe he's been right in front of her the whole time.
Maybe the man Olivia's been looking for has been with her since she arrived in town.
He's not a Hallmark hunk, but he makes her laugh, he's kind, and he likes her, just the way she is.
