Meet Chloe Davenport
Orphan, Trust Fund, Beauty Influencer
CHLOE DAVENPORT is a pushing 40 socialite who is a bit irresponsible in her spending---GUCCI sends her flowers, and is not ready for what is waiting for her-CEO of her own company, DAVENPORT COSMETICS, a global beauty empire. After chucking her boyfriend for suggesting that she isn’t serious about her life, she is determined to prove to him, and herself that she is more than a pretty face!

WHY THIS STORY RIGHT NOW? Because social media is such a huge part of our lives. Influencers are everywhere, and so many people have forgotten what life was like without their phones in their faces. What we see on social media is never as it seems.

Fish Out of Water
A Pink Office Isn't Enough To Run An Empire
Chloe has never worked a day in her life. She loves everything about beauty, especially makeup, and she is great in front of the camera, but she literally knows nothing about running a business, so when she shows up to work, she plays the part, all in her pink, and soon realizes that she must learn the business before it crumbles.
This is a modern-day coming-of-age tale about a girl who hides behind her phone and shopping when all she wants is to be noticed and loved.
Davenport Cosmetics
A beauty company, run by men...until now
The cosmetics company Chloe only inherits when her uncle Vincent is ousted by the board due to his age, and is about to change. Little does he know that his plan to sabotage ends up being the best thing he has ever done for his niece.

WHY ME? As a popular kid in high school, I learned how to behave so others would like me, and none of it was real. Now we have social media to hide behind. What others see and the reality are often different. While I'm not a trust-fund kid, I understand the need to be loved by all and please everyone, and how very lonely that can be.
